Your information
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TWG Global, LLC, which operates the customer-facing 941 Buyback brand, handles information when people visit this website or communicate with 941 Buyback through Meta services and other supported channels.
Effective August 9, 2026
1. Who we are
941 Buyback is a local device-buyback service operated by TWG Global, LLC. This policy applies to this website and to business conversations handled for 941 Buyback.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect or receive:
- Facebook and Instagram messages, comments and related conversation information;
- Messenger conversation identifiers, message text, attachments, timestamps and message status information;
- sender, Page, profile or platform identifiers supplied by Meta in connection with the conversation;
- device information you voluntarily provide, such as product type, model, storage, carrier status, condition, repair history and ownership or lock status;
- contact and scheduling information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, phone number, vehicle description, general meeting availability or other contact details;
- internal conversation labels, qualification status, follow-up status, notes, quoted prices and appointment information;
- WhatsApp messages and associated identifiers if and when WhatsApp integration is enabled; and
- basic website and application technical information, such as IP address, browser or device type, request timestamps and security or error logs created by our hosting and service providers.
We do not ask sellers to submit passwords, account credentials, Social Security numbers, payment-card details or government identification through ordinary chat.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- answer questions and determine whether a device may qualify for purchase;
- prepare or communicate quotes and arrange local meetings;
- continue a conversation or conduct appropriate follow-up;
- apply conversation labels and maintain lead, appointment and transaction records;
- detect fraud, theft, misuse, security incidents or policy violations;
- operate, troubleshoot, secure and improve our website and business systems; and
- meet accounting, tax, legal and regulatory obligations.
4. AI-assisted processing
Business conversations may be processed by an AI service provider, including OpenAI, to help understand messages, draft or deliver responses, classify leads, apply conversation labels and identify appropriate follow-up. Information sent for AI processing may include relevant message content and the device or contact details provided in the conversation.
AI-assisted responses support our business communications. Final price decisions and completed purchases remain subject to human review and an in-person inspection. We do not use seller conversations to make decisions involving credit, employment, housing, insurance or other similarly sensitive eligibility matters.
5. How information is shared
We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the business:
- Meta, when communications occur through Facebook, Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp;
- OpenAI or another disclosed AI-processing provider, when AI-assisted message handling is enabled;
- Vercel, for website hosting, delivery, security and platform logs;
- Supabase, for application database and file-storage services; and
- professional advisers, authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or complete a business transfer.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use seller conversation information for third-party targeted advertising.
6. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for lead handling, follow-up, transaction records, security, dispute resolution and legal or accounting obligations. Information connected to a completed purchase may be kept longer than an uncompleted lead when needed for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or other legally required records. Provider logs and backups may remain for a limited period under the applicable provider’s retention cycle before being overwritten or deleted.
7. Your choices and deletion requests
You may ask us to stop contacting you or request deletion of information held by our application. Follow the steps on our Data Deletion Instructions. A request to stop follow-up will be honored, although a minimal suppression record may be kept so we know not to contact you again.
Meta separately controls information stored in Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp. Deleting information from our application does not necessarily delete the copy maintained by Meta; use the controls provided by the relevant Meta service for that copy.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Children
Our device-buyback service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this service.
10. Policy changes
We may update this policy as our services or providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
11. Contact
Contact 941 Buyback by sending a message through the official 941 Buyback Facebook Page. For privacy or deletion matters, begin the message with “Privacy Request” or “Data Deletion Request.”
